Local media outlet WPXI is reporting that local law enforcement spotted the guy who tried to assassinate Donald Trump on July 13 a full 30 minutes before the shooting began, but did nothing about it.
The X account of DC_Draino (@DC_Draino) tweeted that local police in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the assassination attempt occurred even took a photo of the suspect, Thomas Matthew Crooks, upon spotting him but proceeded to do nothing while the suspect positioned himself on the rooftop of the nearby American Glass Research building.
“Even though this guy had a rifle!” DC_Draino adds about it was obvious something was wrong. “You have to ask yourself – why?”
Channel 11‘s Nicole Ford confirmed there were eight members of Beaver County’s emergency services unit (ESU) present at the rally, including both snipers and spotters. One of Ford’s sources claims that one member of the ESU team “noticed a suspicious man scoping out a roof near the rally at 5:45 pm, called it in and took a picture of the person.”
“We have learned from our sources the person in that picture is Thomas Crooks. We’re told it’s not clear if Crooks had a gun with him at that point,” the media outlet reported, contradicting DC_Draino about Crooks holding a gun at that moment.
A full 26 minutes after Crooks was spotted and pictures of him were captured, shots started to be fired from the rooftop, prompting a Secret Service sniper to shoot back and ultimately kill Crooks.

Many, including the Wall Street Apes (@WallStreetApes) X account, are suspicious about this whole thing, calling it an “obvious inside job.” The same account posted the following video about Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle, who has close ties to the Bidens, the Cheneys, and who is also responsible for the January 6 “deleted texts scandal.”
“You can not [sic] tell me this wasn’t an inside job,” Wall Street Apes contends about the assassination attempt.

Cheatle, by the way, has been a federal government staple for 28 years. She was on the team that evacuated then-Vice President Dick Cheney on 9/11. She also served on then-Vice President Joe Biden’s protective detail during the administration of former President Barack Obama, after which she was appointed as director of the Secret Service in 2022.
“Why wasn’t Trump immediately removed from the rally or at least secured in some way?” asked Planet of Memes (@PlanetOfMemes).
Another, Josette Caruso (@josettecaruso), asked why it was reported that one local police officer “climbed to the roof and encountered Crooks, who pointed his rifle at the officer.”
According to reports, the same officer climbed back down the latter and seemingly allowed Crooks to shoot at Trump, which is when Secret Service snipers decided to do something by shooting back at Crooks.
“Sounds like the cookie cutter FBI coaching plan we have seen over the years with these events,” someone responded in speculation.
“Catastrophic failure,” responded another. “There’s no two ways about it.”
“That said, it was reported an officer confronted the shooter, at which point the shooter took aim at the officer. The officer took cover. When he did, the shooter then turned and took aim at the president.”
